It's almost time!

We are super excited as we get closer to the festival THIS Saturday :D

For those of you who are waiting to buy tickets, what are you waiting for?!

Presale tickets will only be available through 9pm Friday 4/16/10. After that tickets will be available at the gate (lines will be long) and must be paid for with cash (atm available on site).

There are just 72 hours left to sign up for workshops! Last day to sign up is Wednesday 4/14/10. The small goblin sculpting workshop has been cancelled, but there are a handful of seats available in both the Fairy Wand & Fairy Nest Home making workshops- don't delay, sign up today!

There have been some additions to our schedule and children's activities too, make sure to take a look at our updated pages.

Don't have your wings yet? Don't worry! There will be vendors with beautiful handcrafted wings to help you look your fairy best, and don't forget to stop by the Crescent Moon Gifts booth & get your ears on! This year promises to be a very exciting one in the fairy marketplace with over 40 vendors!

Artists, crafters, and entertainers join to bring you a very magical day full of delights, can't wait to see you there!

It's getting closer!

So many updates to the site- more vendors, more musicians, more performamces and WORKSHOPS! YAY!

It's shaping up to be an awesome day jam packed with events :D

Just waiting on one more confirmation and the schedule of the days events will go live, you do not want to miss it!

Workshops must be registered for in advance as our instructors need to purchase the correct amount of supplies, so if you're interested in participating please sign up asap!

We still need many volunteers for decorating, front gate, and vendor unloading. if you can help out for a couple hours doing any of these things please let me know! You will receive free admission to the event and some fairy nice suprises for helping out :wink:

Become a part of the Fairy Festival Flyer Brigade (say THAT 5 times fast!) we need help getting the word out by posting event flyers, do you know of a great place? do you have time to post one? let me know!

So exciting to see this year is going to be even better than the last, making magic with all of you is so very fun!

Hello out there,

Today our event tickets page has gone live!

We are staying 'green' this year and no paper tickets will be issued online tickets will be available for purchase through April 15th then it's cash at gate the day of.

I have added the first of our workshops and updated the front page content. I'll be adding more updates as soon as I confirm with our musicians, artists & performers. Vendors- please be patient as I work to recover may hard drive, apps. will be sent asap.

Everyone is very excited and things are progressing nicely :D

I would really like to hear from YOU- Who do you want to see at our festival? Which artists, musicians, performers? What types of things did you enjoy at last years event? This is event that is for everyone to enjoy all input is valuable in shaping it.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS- As you know it takes a small village of fae to facilitate this festival, and we simply cannot do it without help. Please visit our 'How Do I Help' page for more info on volunteering. Not only do you get into the event for free, but you get our undying fairy gratitude and loads of good karma!

I know it's early but April will be here before you know it, and I can't wait to see you all again!

Our 3rd annual event!

HOW EXCITED ARE YOU??

I'm extremely thrilled to announce that we are having our 3rd annual event in just a few short months!

There is a lot of planning going on and some pleasant suprises are in the works :D announcements will be made as details are confirmed.

Our date is confirmed, Saturday April 17th from 11am-6pm, however we may be making a weekend of it with events on Friday & Sunday in different locations... I cannot confirm this yet, but will let you know asap!

The location is the same as last year, Freighthouse Square's lower level, free parking in the garage across the street. This will be our last year at Freighthouse as the event is growing in capacity. I am happy to announce that Freighthouse has partnered with us this year as a sponsor and the merchants & restaurants are very much looking forward to the event.

My hard drive crashed and is being repaired so please be patient and I will have vendor/volunteer/and sponsor applications very soon!
